A little bit about me…

Always perky. Always smiling. That’s me. Even after putting in extra hours several days in a row, I’m still on top of my game. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I am a chronic coffee consumer.

Where does the name LunaBird come from? The name was inspired by owls. I’ve always been intrigued by them and then to find out owls symbolize inner wisdom, change, transformation, intuitive development, good luck, and self-actualization. It was a perfect fit.

In 2007, I was working for the Minnesota Department of Revenue collecting taxes. The MNDR had every employee take the Insights Discovery Evaluation and I found that my personal style was exceedingly rare, and discovered that my logical, independent, and creative abilities allow me to look at projects differently. I love to use my creative and analytical skills to research trends all while using psychology as a basis for visual designs. Design isn’t just about creating beautiful concepts; it should also create an experience.
